We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Agent to join our team at Ingenious DR.
This is a full-time position, with an estimated annual salary of $40,000-$60,000, based on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while effectively collecting outstanding and aged account balances. Key responsibilities include:
- Documenting all collection activity and maintaining organized records
- Promptly responding to inquiries from relevant parties
- Ensuring the quality, integrity, and proper execution of assigned tasks
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
- Maintaining satisfactory levels of productivity across all assigned accounts
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in phone etiquette and soft skills
- Strong critical thinking and investigative abilities
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English for both verbal and written communication
- Competent in computer skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret medical claims
- Aptitude to assess problems and determine appropriate courses of action
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additionally, 1+ year of experience in credit/collections or customer service is preferred. Alternatively, completion of 1+ year of university coursework is also acceptable. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
