Position Summary: 

A Strategic Finance Specialist is a person who assists the strategic finance team in its day-to-day responsibilities, including reporting on financial information, monitoring the key financial metrics of the company, and evaluating and analyzing key projects. Additionally, the Strategic Finance Specialist works closely with the Strategic Finance Manager to automate certain processes and provide reports and analyses as directed by management.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate and analyze financial reports
  • Assist in the billing process
  • Develop financial analysis/business cases
  • Assist with budgeting procedures
  • Assist in the consolidation of financial statements
  • Perform industry benchmarks
  • Update the financial dashboards
  • Undertake specific tasks/projects as required by the Strategic Finance Senior Manager and/or the CFO
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in English
  • Eager to learn and work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Drive
  • Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multitask
  • Cope well under pressure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Decision-making
  • Team work
Education and Experience:
  • Finance or Economics student or recent graduate
