Job Description

At Ingenious DR, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Collection Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Senior Collection Specialist will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while collecting outstanding and aged account balances. This includes documenting all collection activity, maintaining organized records, and promptly responding to inquiries from relevant parties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong critical thinking and investigative abilities, with the ability to comprehend and interpret medical claims. They will also possess a professional demeanor and attitude, with a commitment to excellence.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining satisfactory levels of productivity across all assigned accounts. The Senior Collection Specialist will be expected to efficiently utilize processes and client systems to maximize effectiveness, and to develop feasible payment plans for patients or responsible parties.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ year of experience in credit/collections or customer service
  • Alternatively, completion of 1+ year of university coursework
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English for both verbal and written communication
  • Competent in computer skills
