Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to drive revenue growth and optimize billing processes in our dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of the VoiceTeam Call SRL team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, verifying patient insurance coverage, and managing claim denials.
About the Role:
This is a critical position that requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, medical coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance companies. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process and submit insurance claims accurately and within established deadlines.
-Verify patient insurance coverage and maintain proper documentation.
-Resolve insurance claim denials by coordinating with insurance companies as needed.
-Utilize standard medical billing coding systems for proper claim submission.
-Maintain and update patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
-Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing inquiries and issues.
-Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and billing guidelines.
-Generate detailed billing reports and follow up on outstanding claims or payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-At least 1 year of proven experience in medical billing, claims processing, and insurance verification.
-Strong background in working with insurance companies and understanding claim denial processes.
-Solid experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
-Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS.
-Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of billing and coding.
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
