We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Claims Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in processing insurance claims, verifying patient insurance coverage, and managing claim denials.

The role requires proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and familiarity with standard medical billing coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS). Strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and submit insurance claims accurately and on time.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Handle and resolve insurance claim denials, coordinating with insurance companies as needed.
  • Maintain and update patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing inquiries and issues.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 1+ year of proven experience in medical billing, claims processing, and insurance verification.
  • A strong background in working with insurance companies and understanding claim denial processes.
  • Solid experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.

At VoiceTeam, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with various benefits:
