Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
Closely monitor & communicate to the Vice President; Project Status/Risks & OpportunitiesCollaborate with Accounting and Finance staff to effectively manage the budgeting & forecasting processParticipate in management committee meetings within all assigned joint venturesManage the pursuit of project claims & change ordersResponsible for ensuring the development & use of a CPM schedule throughout the life of the projectEngage project and corporate level contract management to address & resolve contractual issues & claimsParticipate in project level staff meetings and all major decisionsEstablish & promote a safety culture through active representationOversee procurement or Buy-out process to ensure it adhere to set budgetSponsor additional revenue strategy including REA's and claimsEstablish and maintain relationships with key business partnersEffectively oversee subcontract managementCoach and develop staffCarry out job duties while maintaining Lane valuesQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fieldMinimum 15 years of heavy civil construction experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to assess, evaluate, and solve problemsKnowledge of regulatory laws and responsibilitiesStrong teamwork and leadership skillsOrganizational skills; attention to detailLane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
