We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to manage our comprehensive accounting, tax compliance, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Dominican tax laws (DGII), social security systems (TSS), and the specific regulatory requirements of the National Council of Export Free Zones (CNZFE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Social Security: Manage the TSS (Suir platform), including the registration of dependents and ensuring all payroll aligns with National ISR scales. Calculate hourly rates, extraordinary payments, and supplementary remuneration.
  • Tax Compliance (DGII): Expertly manage the OFV (Oficina Virtual). Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of all DGII forms, including 606, 607, ITBIS, IR12, IR2, and IR3.
  • Financial Accounting: Maintain complete financial records in strict accordance with NIIF (IFRS) standards and tax accounting principles.
  • Free Zone & Customs Management: Oversee all processes related to the National Council of Export Free Zones (CNZFE) and navigate customs processes efficiently.
  • Financial Planning: Lead financial planning initiatives, prepare estimates for funding requests, and oversee the purchasing department's financial flow.

Requirements & Skills

  • Software Mastery: Medium to Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Systems: Experience with Webconsystem is a plus, though internal training will be provided for this specific platform.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Dominican labor law, tax code, and Free Zone regime regulations.
  • Accounting Standards: Proven experience applying NIIF (IFRS) in a corporate environment.
  • Proactive Management: Ability to handle complex tax filings and financial forecasting independently.
