Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Santo Domingo. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, analyzing financial data, supporting audits, preparing tax filings, and assisting in forecasting and financial strategy development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax preparation, and compliance regulations
- Experience with ledger reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and bookkeeping
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus
- Prior experience in a professional accounting role is preferred
