Job Description

In this critical role, you will lead the development and execution of our company's financial strategy, driving growth and profitability in line with our vision.

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial operations, ensuring alignment with our corporate goals and objectives. This includes leading cross-functional finance teams, promoting efficient financial systems, and analyzing financial performance indicators to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership. As a key member of our executive team, you will be expected to drive strategic decision-making, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and foster a culture of transparency and integrity within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Define and execute short-term and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with our corporate strategies and objectives.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Promote and implement efficient financial systems, processes, and policies that optimize our company's activities and improve financial operations.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop, communicate, and enforce finance policies that foster continuous improvement in financial processes and business practices.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure tax compliance while leveraging incentives effectively, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting our industry.
  • Financial Resource Allocation: Oversee financial resource allocation in collaboration with Accounts Payable, prioritizing expenditures according to our company policies and strategic needs.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Supervise budget creation and execution, monitor company cash flow, and ensure alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Cost Reduction Strategies: Develop cost reduction strategies and track the progress of initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the evaluation and professional development of the finance team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and promoting career growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields; Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in similar senior financial roles, including project management, taxation, financial accounting, and budgeting within our industry.
  • Skills: High proficiency in English and Spanish, capable of conducting complex negotiations and presentations in both languages; Strong command of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software such as SAP.
  • Competencies: Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment; Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with an emphasis on developing innovative financial solutions.
