Objetivo:
Tiene como misión diseñar, evaluar y proponer soluciones financieras para nuevos desarrollos, expansiones y decisiones estratégicas de inversión en el portafolio administrado por Sotavento Capital. Este rol combina modelado financiero avanzado, análisis de retorno sobre inversión y evaluación de estructuras óptimas de financiamiento, con una fuerte capacidad de traducir estos análisis en recomendaciones concretas para comités de inversión, bancos e inversionistas institucionales.
Se espera que actúe como una pieza clave en la toma de decisiones estratégicas, siendo el responsable de transformar información financiera, proyecciones y escenarios en propuestas estructuradas, claras y financieramente viables.
Responsabilidades Principales:
- Construir y mantener modelos financieros robustos (Excel / Power BI) que integren TIR, VAN, Payback, DSCR y sensibilidad.
- Evaluar la factibilidad económica de nuevos desarrollos, expansiones o adquisiciones.
- Elaborar simulaciones de escenarios para distintos niveles de riesgo, desempeño y financiamiento.
- Preparar modelos dinámicos que permitan análisis comparativo entre proyectos.
- Diseñar estructuras óptimas de capital para proyectos (equity, deuda, híbridos, leasing, financiamiento puente, etc.).
- Identificar y proponer alternativas de financiamiento con bancos, inversionistas o fondos especializados.
- Evaluar impacto financiero de distintas combinaciones de apalancamiento, tasas, plazos y condiciones.
- Participar en la evaluación de oportunidades de inversión (M&A, expansiones, joint ventures, nuevos negocios).
- Preparar informes ejecutivos para comités de inversión, socios o direcciones generales.
- Investigar benchmarks, mercados comparables y variables clave que afectan la rentabilidad del proyecto.
- Apoyar la elaboración de presentaciones a bancos, fiduciarias o inversionistas.
- Coordinar con áreas operativas o comerciales para validar supuestos financieros.
- Brindar soporte técnico al equipo de liderazgo en presentaciones estratégicas.
Requisitos del Perfil
Formación Académica
- Licenciatura en Finanzas, Economía, Contabilidad, Ingeniería Industrial o carrera afín.
- Postgrado o maestría en Finanzas Corporativas, Inversiones o MBA (deseable).
Experiencia Relevante
- 3+ años en roles de análisis financiero, evaluación de inversiones, estructuración financiera o consultoría.
- Experiencia directa desarrollando modelos financieros y presentaciones para decisiones de inversión.
- Familiaridad con estructuras de deuda, leasing, y capital para proyectos inmobiliarios y corporativos.
Habilidades Técnicas
- Dominio avanzado de Excel y modelado financiero.
- Conocimiento de indicadores clave: TIR, VAN, DSCR, Payback, ROIC, WACC, entre otros.
- Deseable experiencia en Power BI, Tableau u otras herramientas de visualización financiera.
- Habilidad para construir presentaciones ejecutivas con impacto.
- Dominio avanzado del idioma ingles.
