Job Summary: Assist DR Video and Technology Coordinator and Associate with day-to-day video and data responsibilities at the DR facility. Assist and support Baseball Operations, Scouting and Player Development through data and video capture, edition, distribution, display, research, and related requests. We envision this position playing a vital role in the enhancement of baseball development concepts, as well as supporting player evaluation, performance maximization, and on-field strategies.

- Bachelor's degree or pursuit of degree preferred.
Experience
- No experience required. Experience with current baseball technologies is a plus (BATS, Trackman, Hawk-Eye, TruMedia, Blast, and Edgertronic).
Skills
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with all aspects of Baseball Operations, Scouting, and Player Development.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
- Coordinate video projects from start to finish and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Other
- Spoken and written fluency in English is a plus.
- Availability to travel within the United States and internationally when requested.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Duty
Description
Capture, Edit, Distribute, Display, and Organization – 50%
- Operate Trackman for all home games.
- Make sure all assigned activities including games, data, practice video, etc. are captured, uploaded, and reported to the system on the same day.
- Track video and data collection for reporting purposes.
- Assist staff with ad-hoc research projects and video/data requests.
- Ensure clean and organized workspace.
Coordinating, Planning, and Communication - 20%
- Ensure daily reports are accurate and submitted on the same day of the activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan, manage, and integrate video and technology tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accuracy, Reliability, and Efficiency – 30%
- Ensure accurate and reliable video and data through systematic checks and all available resources.
Reports To:
- Manager, Video and Technology
- Performance-Based.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds (supplies, machinery, etc.).
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and climb stairs regularly in the course of daily duties
- Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat, humidity, cold, outdoors, confined spaces like office/cubicles and locker rooms). Work is primarily performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks at a computer.
- Sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for tasks like computer work, note-taking, etc.
- Ability to work long shifts with long and variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to drive and/or fly short and long distances, day or night in various conditions.
- Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures.
- Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds Organization.
- Perform duties as workload necessitates.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Meet department productivity standards.
- Willingness to learn. Open to new methodologies.
