Technical Support
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting technical issues, supporting internal users, and contributing to the reliability and continuity of the company's IT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot user access issues, application errors, and connectivity incidents.
- Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets under the supervision of IT staff.
- Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures accurately.
- Support account creation, access control, and equipment setup for new employees.
- Participate in IT maintenance tasks including system updates and backups.
- Help implement IT security policies and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Provide in-person, chat, email, and phone support to internal users.
- Assist in maintaining an updated inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Engage in training opportunities and contribute to technology improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Technical Support Team Lead or IT Coordinator.
Required Skills and Experience
- University student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Knowledge of basic networking, connectivity troubleshooting, and hardware components.
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively, stay organized, and handle multiple support requests.
- Fluency in Spanish required; intermediate English proficiency preferred.
