About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing team member to join our growing company. In this job, you will help with insurance claims, medical billing, and basic healthcare office tasks.

If you have experience in healthcare, insurance, or billing, that's a plus—but it's not required. We welcome people who are ready to learn, grow their skills, and build a long-term career in a stable and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and keep accurate information in company systems.
  • Prepare, check, and organize medical documents and invoices.
  • Answer emails and internal messages quickly and professionally.
  • Find and help fix billing errors.
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with team support.
  • Work according to HIPAA and other healthcare rules.
  • Create simple reports about claims and billing.
  • Call insurance companies to get or confirm information.
  • Work with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other teams to resolve claims.
  • Keep both electronic and paper records organized and confidential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Comfortable making and receiving business-related calls.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
