We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of a specialized software platform serving cooperatives and financial institutions.
This role requires a strong balance of market understanding, technical knowledge, stakeholder alignment, and execution leadership, ensuring the product evolves successfully from concept through development, launch, and ongoing adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from product strategy and roadmap definition to launch and continuous improvement
- Act as the primary product liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements to define product features and enhancements
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, and design teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Lead planning activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination
- Oversee product launches, deployments, data migrations, and go-live readiness from a product perspective
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, risks, and dependencies to guide decision-making
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), onboarding, training, and adoption initiatives
- Ensure the product adheres to software quality standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in software development environments
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, and Agile or hybrid methodologies
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver complex software products
- Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders and customers, particularly in regulated or financial environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and prioritization skills
- Experience with financial systems, cooperatives, or banking platforms is a strong advantage
