Role Purpose

The Amazon USA Launch Specialist owns the end-to-end execution and performance of all Amazon product launches in the US marketplace. This role exists to ensure every launch is strategically planned, flawlessly executed, and continuously optimized post-launch. The role is accountable for launch readiness, early momentum, margin protection, and performance analysis, working cross-functionally to align creative, PPC, logistics, and growth initiatives. This role is critical to Chai Vision's commitment to customer obsession, operational excellence, and scalable brand growth.

What You'll Do

A. Launch Strategy & Planning (Top of Funnel vs Bottom of Funnel)

  • Own the full Amazon US launch roadmap from pre-launch to post-launch stabilization
  • Define launch goals (ranking, velocity, margin, TACoS, conversion)
  • Review competitor landscapes, pricing, positioning, and launch tactics
  • Build demand forecasts, inventory projections, and velocity assumptions

Top of Funnel Focus:

  • Keyword strategy & indexing plan
  • PPC launch structure coordination
  • External traffic setup (affiliates, polling)

Bottom of Funnel Focus:

  • Conversion optimization through images, A+, pricing, coupons, deals
  • Storefront placement and variation/virtual bundle strategy

Execution & Oversight (Strategy vs Execution | Oversight vs Doing)

Oversight (Owner, Not Executor):

  • Coordinate with Creative team to ensure listing images and A+ are launch-ready
  • Align with PPC team on launch budgets, bids, and keyword prioritization
  • Align with Logistics team to ensure inventory is properly distributed across FCs

Execution (Hands-On Ownership):

  • Create, optimize, and QA listing SEO (title, bullets, backend, attributes)
  • Enroll ASINs into Vine and manage early review generation strategy
  • Set up polling, and early traction initiatives
  • Ensure deals, coupons, and promotional mechanics are live and margin-safe
  • Ensure affiliate programs are properly set up and tracked
  • Manage variation merges, bundles, and storefront placement

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Monitor daily launch performance: sessions, CVR, sales, rank, PPC, inventory
  • Analyze performance shifts and clearly explain
    why
    metrics are moving
  • Identify risks early (OOS, poor indexing, low CVR, margin erosion)
  • Recommend corrective actions and implement approved changes

Reporting & Accountability

  • Produce
    daily launch performance updates
    with insights, not just data
  • Produce
    weekly launch reports
    covering progress vs plan, risks, and next actions
  • Track margin performance and flag issues with deals, coupons, or ad spend
  • Maintain clear launch documentation and status visibility

Success Metrics

Successful on-time launches with zero critical blockers

Achieve target keyword indexing within first 7–14 days

Hit or exceed launch velocity and revenue targets

Maintain target gross margin during launch period

Stable inventory coverage with no early stockouts

Clear, actionable reporting with proactive issue identification
