Technical Support

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting technical issues, supporting internal users, and contributing to the reliability and continuity of the company's IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot user access issues, application errors, and connectivity incidents.
  • Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets under the supervision of IT staff.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures accurately.
  • Support account creation, access control, and equipment setup for new employees.
  • Participate in IT maintenance tasks including system updates and backups.
  • Help implement IT security policies and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Provide in-person, chat, email, and phone support to internal users.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Engage in training opportunities and contribute to technology improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Technical Support Team Lead or IT Coordinator.

Required Skills and Experience

  • University student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Familiarity with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of basic networking, connectivity troubleshooting, and hardware components.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, stay organized, and handle multiple support requests.
  • Fluency in Spanish required; intermediate English proficiency preferred.
