Mathematics Teacher

Role Description This full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role at LAM School International is based in Santo Domingo Este. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for the assigned grade levels. Daily responsibilities include aiding in lesson planning, identifying students’ individual learning needs, teaching classes, assessing student learning, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and communicating regularly with families about student performance. The teacher also supports a positive, inclusive classroom environment and upholds school policies and standards of academic excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Mathematics Education suited to the relevant grade levels. Teaching certification or authorization. Fluency in English. Experience providing individualized math instruction for the assigned grade levels. Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to support diverse learning needs. Clear, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families.
