JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing, controlling and distributing the tools and/or accessories used in the manufacturing area. This includes their maintenance. Work under supervision

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general cleaning, administrative or maintenance work related to the operation of the area.
• Organize tools and/or accessories within the area.
• Registers and delivers tools and/or accessories to manufacturing personnel.
• Inspects new and repaired tools and equipment for proper operation.
• Write requests for the repair or replacement of tools.
• Writes transmissions for the delivery of tools and equipment to suppliers for repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on tools and equipment.
• May train new employees if assigned.
• May perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Provide support to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives to support our zero-accident culture.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• 0-2 Years's experience in tool management and control
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Technician in industrial mechanics or mechanical maintenance experience (preferable)
• Microsoft excel experience.
• Ability to keep simple records and calculations (basic math)
• Knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and their repair.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Tooling administration abilities.
