Position Summary

The Processing Associate plays a vital role in the back-office operations of the

Processing Department, supporting Case Managers and Enrolled Agents. This role

combines administrative work with client-focused outreach by executing Transcript

Investigation (TI) Calls to retrieve tax information directly from the IRS, as well as

performing key back-office tasks. The associate ensures that the team has accurate

and timely documentation and data to perform tax preparation and negotiation

services efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Transcript Investigation (TI) Calls

Conduct TI Calls for both individual and business clients.
Contact the IRS Practitioner line unit to retrieve accurate transcripts for clients records
Log results in our CRM and neatly archive retrieved documentation in our database

Back-Office Operations

POA (Power Of Attorney) Revocations

Process and submit revocation requests for Power of Attorney forms.
Ensure timely updates and proper record-keeping in the client's case files

2848 Submissions

Complete and submit IRS Form 2848 (Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative).
Verify accuracy and completeness of forms before submission to avoid delays.

8821 Submissions

Prepare and submit IRS Form 8821 (Tax Information Authorization).
Maintain tracking logs for all submissions, ensuring a timely follow-up.

Pulling Taxpayer Information Transcripts

Retrieve Taxpayer Information Transcripts from IRS databases.
Organize and distribute the transcripts to the appropriate Case Managers or Enrolled Agents.

Scheduled Alerts Creation And Disabling

Set up alerts for upcoming deadlines, client follow-ups, and important document reviews.
Inputting each alert within each client's case and notifying the case manager.
Maintain a well-structured calendar for the Processing Department.
For any client that completes/cancels their case we would need to remove the scheduled alerts.

Data Entry For The Processing Department

Input client and case-related data into relevant systems with precision and attention to detail.
Assist in maintaining databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.

Required Skills/Abilities

Advanced English proficiency; able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to perform effectively over the phone, particularly when conducting TI Calls with IRS representatives.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience in data entry and back-office operations.
Knowledge of tax processes is a plus.
Must have a valid Dominican passport.

Competitive base salary
Health insurance through ARS Humano Royal Plan (available after 3 months)

Work Schedule (Onsite)

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (EST)
Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekends off
Schedules are fixed and based on business needs. Please apply only if you're available during these hours.
