Key Responsibilities:
Develop the Manufacturing Production Plan based on the input from the Master Production Schedule and or Project Team requirements. Development includes the following:
- Manage issues preventing execution of the MPS and production plan. Issues include but are not limited to non-conforming materials or processes, material or equipment availability, completing unplanned requirements from stakeholders
- Analyze resource availability, develop short and mid-range capacity plans with manufacturing teams
- Generate work orders using the Manufacturing Enterprise system
- Manage work order progress, including working with production supervision and other supporting departments (e.g., quality, microbiology, engineering) to ensure production plans are me
- Identify, plan and execute cost reduction and cycle time reduction initiative.
- Update changes/parameters within MRP (Material Requirements Planning) in the Manufacturing Enterprise system
- Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in relate field, required or master's degree or equivalent with internship, senior projects, or thesis in Engineering or Scientific field including either industry or industry/education Required
Additional Skills:
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, and Word; ERP (e.g. JDE) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skill
- Moderate knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to purchasing material and/or production control
- Moderate knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management programs (e.g., JIT/Kanban, Min/Max)
- Moderate knowledge of market and economic indicators, practices and procurement procedures
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Work is performed independently on more complex projects and/or lines of work and reviewed for accuracy and soundness
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
