Assistant to Project Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a tile installation company for a full-time remote Assistant to support the company's manager.
This role is ideal for someone who is smart, sharp, detail-oriented, and able to quickly understand instructions or ask clarifying questions when needed. Accuracy is extremely important, as this position involves working with measurements, calculations, and construction-related data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
- Preparing and reviewing quotes and estimates with a high level of accuracy
- Working with physical measurements and quantities related to tile installation projects
- Using QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks
- Communicating with clients primarily via email, WhatsApp, and occasional one-on-one meetings
- Supporting project organization and workflow as needed
Requirements:
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with measurements, calculations, and quantities
- Ability to follow instructions efficiently and ask questions when clarification is needed
- Strong written communication skills
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction takeoff software
- Previous experience in construction, estimating, or a related field
Schedule & setup:
- Full-time position with a fixed schedule during Eastern Time hours
- 100% remote / work from home
- Candidate must have their own computer or laptop, stable internet, and an appropriate home office setup
