AI Project within a World-class digital-first agency

The Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer is in charge of the direction of AI-powered applications, driving architectural decisions across backend, frontend, and AI integrations. This role involves building scalable Python services, developing intuitive user interfaces with modern frontend frameworks, and designing data pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-based solutions to address real-world problems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who promotes engineering excellence through mentorship and best practices, collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, and stays current with emerging AI and web technologies to inform technical strategy and execution.

• Lead the technical direction of projects, making high-level architectural decisions for full-stack applications that integrate AI services

• Design and build robust backend services (Python) and intuitive, interactive frontend interfaces (React/Vue/Angular) that visualize complex data and AI interactions

• Architect and maintain data processing pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations to solve real-world client problems

• Foster a culture of excellence by performing rigorous code reviews, mentoring junior and senior developers, and driving the adoption of best practices

• Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and QA to translate complex requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable software

• Stay ahead of the curve on the latest AI trends (e.g., SLMs, Agentic AI, Multimodal models) and web technologies, advising stakeholders on feasibility and implementation

• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role

• Strong backend expertise in Python, using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Modern frontend experience with React, Vue, or Angular (TypeScript preferred)

• Hands-on AI/LLM experience, including RAG patterns and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex

• Solid API design skills, working with REST, GraphQL, and real-time interfaces

• Strong engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing

• Database experience with relational and vector databases

• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
