As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects. You will act as the primary link between business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring that software development, infrastructure, and security initiatives are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader capable of managing cross-functional teams and navigating the technical challenges of the modern digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create detailed schedules and roadmaps that align with company goals.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and motivate technical teams, including developers, engineers, and analysts. Facilitate daily stand-ups or project meetings to ensure alignment.
  • Resource and Budget Management: Allocate human and financial resources effectively. Monitor project spending and ensure the project remains financially viable.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical or operational bottlenecks early. Develop and implement strategies to minimize delays or failures.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular, clear updates to executives and department heads. Translate technical jargon into actionable business insights.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the testing and validation of IT solutions to ensure they meet internal standards and user needs before launch.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Management.
  • Experience: Proven experience managing IT projects, specifically within software development or systems integration.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and influence decision-makers.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
