Overview
To operate electronic video and audio surveillance system. To observe and monitor casino customers and employees for any violations of The Hard Rock ICMP's or company standards and procedures. To report violations as required, and acts to ensure for the safety and security of all customers and employees. To perform duties in compliance with local, state and federal Laws and the Hard Rock ICMPs.
Responsibilities
- Operate electronic video and audio surveillance system and maintain knowledge of surveillance systems though continues training on component design and repair.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the Surveillance team by promoting a professional image and handling all situations with the required confidentiality.
- Knowledgeable of the gaming regulations, Hard Rock ICMP's and company policies and procedures in order to provide and complete accurate reports and assist staff when necessary.
- Maintains knowledge of upcoming changes, auditions, deletions of any regulations, policy and procedure though continuous training.
- Monitor the integrity of gaming and cash handling functions through observing and reporting procedural violations and suspicious actions on the floor.
- Monitor staff and customers in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics, Conduct and Professional Behaviors' policies.
- Performs incident investigations by reviewing and analyzing video tapes, and communicate review result to respective management as directed. Make a log of the incident including all important details of the incident.
- Maintain an accurate and chronological activity log for the entire casino and ensure that all reports are completed in a timely manner and filed appropriately, keeping appropriate personnel informed at all times.
- Performs a comprehensives confidential, close watch, of any casino activity, customer or employee when it is necessary or required.
- Adheres to strict confidentiality of all information and reports to maintain the integrity of the casino and its employees.
- Assist the Shift Operations manager and facilities to make calls for emergency services and outside service repairs.
- Communicate in a professional manner in all dealings with customers, in person, by telephone/radio or electronically and make sure a prompt and accurate relaying of information.
- Works closely with security to address compliance, liquor code violations, underage gaming and patron employee. Acts as liaison between security and emergency service, relaying important information to assist emergency services in being prepared upon their arrival
- Detect equipment failures and follow directions or a checklist in determining the cause of an equipment failure, and perform repairs and maintenance of the surveillance systems as directed.
- Maintains a video file library and produces CD recordings by date and time upon immediate request.
- Performs schedule with possible additional hours requested.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and complies with safety procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working alone and in closed environment with little or no supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to observe business operations and make appropriate decisions and take appropriate action based on observations.
- Demonstrate Basic computer skills.
