Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Soil Scientist based in Santo Domingo Oeste. The Soil Scientist will conduct field studies, collect and analyze soil samples, interpret data, and prepare detailed reports on soil properties. They will provide scientific insights to support sustainable land use, agriculture, and environmental conservation initiatives, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to address soil-related challenges in both urban and rural environments.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in soil sampling, testing, and data analysis
• Expertise in environmental science, land management, and sustainable agricultural practices
• Effective communication and technical writing skills for report preparation and result interpretation
• Proficiency in geospatial mapping tools, laboratory equipment, and industry-specific software
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or related field
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Relevant certifications or experience in environmental impact assessments are a plus
