Key Account Manager Caribbean

JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking an independent Key Account Manager to join our team full-time to cover the Dominican Republic and Caribbean islands. If you are a natural salesperson, hungry, ambitious, sharp, and seeking to be a part of a high-performance team at a fast-paced startup, this could be the right role for you.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, consolidators, and tour operators to promote ticket sales and services.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions to familiarize clients with airline offerings and booking tools.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and incentive programs with travel partners to maximize mutual benefits
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and provide market insights internally.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales Support, revenue management and marketing, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Represent the airline at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.
- Stay updated on airline products, policies, and industry developments to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in developing sales strategies and meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience in sales in the tourism or airline industry required
