Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Assistant located in Santo Domingo. The Preschool Assistant will support the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities. Responsibilities include assisting with the supervision of children, preparing and organizing educational materials, ensuring a clean and safe classroom environment, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Additionally, the role requires assisting with mealtime, naptime, and other routine tasks while promoting social and emotional development among children.
Qualifications
- Basic Childcare and Early Childhood Education knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with children, parents, and team members
- Patient, compassionate, and attentive to children's needs
- Born-again Christian
- English Proficiency
- Previous experience working in early childhood settings is an advantage
