About you

This opportunity is for a
temporary contract (5 months)
, collaborating directly with our client's engineering team.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular for front-end maintenance and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration between distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss or Apache application servers.
- Working knowledge of Oracle databases for querying, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to diagnose production issues, analyze logs, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Fluent English communication (C1 level – technical and client-facing).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Linux commands and Bash scripting.
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor support ticket queues and production alerts.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, ensuring system reliability.
- Participate in control callouts and operational meetings with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify root causes and apply permanent fixes.
- Support deployment processes, validate post-release stability, and document resolutions.
- Contribute to improving application performance, monitoring, and automation initiatives.
