We're Hiring:
Sales Engineer – Water & Electricity Sector
Location: Santo Domingo We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in solar energy systems and a passion for creating smart, sustainable solutions in the Water Sector. This role will support our growth by identifying customer needs, proposing technical solutions, and driving sales in distribution products such as inverters, batteries, solar panels, and EV chargers for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales Directors and Business Development teams to achieve annual sales targets.
Visit customers to collect and analyze key information: needs, pain points, budgets, and purchasing history.
Generate and manage business opportunities using our internal system.
Prepare and present technical proposals; guide clients through solution design, product selection, and testing phases.
Analyze market trends and competitors; provide actionable insights to strengthen our product positioning.
Establish and maintain strong technical relationships with key customers.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in the solar system industry: solar panels, inverters, energy storage batteries, EV chargers, etc. Experience preparing technical solar proposals. Preferred background in solar distributors, EPC companies, or installation companies with 3+ years in distribution products/solutions.
Skills: Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and products.
E
xcellent technical and pre-sales capabilities. Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills. Self-driven with analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset. Fluent in English (mandatory).
