The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible to manage the competition of payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices of all Caribbean markets.Specific Area of ResponsibilityYour main tasks will be:
  • Supervise the activities performed by his/her direct reports.
  • Ensure on time payments to supplier according to the invoices, PO, and payments terms.
  • Ensure payments application on time in vendors accounts.
  • Ensure the correct codification of the AP invoices.
  • Ensure vendor data base is correct.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses as assigned.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Prepare tax forms of all Caribbean markets.
  • Bank reconciliation of all Caribbean markets.
  • Prepare AP analysis and reports as per requested.
  • Support in externals / internals audits requirements.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements/Preferred Education 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fields, preferable.
Training and competencies
  • More than 2 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Proficient in MS Office application.
  • High energy with strong desire to achieve and proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work in a global business environment and in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish & English, preferable.
  • Safety environment awareness.
