Overview
The Casino Finance Manager is responsible for all the internal processes of the Finance Department: accurate reporting of all revenue and expense information related to the Casino, proper managing of Casino assets and funds, timely processing of payments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the work of the Finance Supervisor and Analyst.
- Review the Finance Supervisor and Analyst's work.
- Review weekly payments to suppliers.
- Month End reports (for HRI and owners).
- Safeguard the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
- Maintain general awareness of casino operations at all times and complies with security policies and procedures.
- Ensure casino is maintained in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
- Other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent level of education or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Accounting experience required, previous casino experience preferred.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Data entry skills preferred.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy .
Language Skills
- Comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate information and ideas.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- English & Spanish required.
Physical
- Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
- Ability to obtain impressions through the eyes.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
