Assistant Minor League Athletic Trainer – Dominican Republic

Job Description
Provides the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation, under the supervision of a licensed physician, for all athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewers minor league players; Provides open lines of communication between the minor league affiliate manager, coaches, Assistant Director – Player Health and MBBC front office personnel of all injuries and medical conditions of MBBC players at the affiliate.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Complete all medical treatment and individual rehabilitations before workouts, pre- and post-game.
- Maintain inventory control and budgeting of medical equipment and supply purchased or owned by the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
- Under the MBBC policies, provide athletic training room rules and medical policies for players. Ensure copies of rules and policies are distributed to managers, coaches, and front office staff.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional baseball experience in the medical or a related field, have national certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association, as well as the ability to live in the Dominican Republic. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.
