IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist provides enterprise-level support to our user base. This position is the first point of contact for IT assistance; therefore, it receives service requests and provides essential support and troubleshooting.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Provide fix instructions for standard software and hardware issues.

2. Troubleshoot configuration issues.

3. Software installations.

4. Hardware repair.

5. Printer configurations.

6. Ticket routing and escalation.

7. Network issues.

Assist with all IT-related tasks, from menial inventory processes and audits to high-level projects as required by the business needs.

1. Work on projects

2. Work with the IT maintenance process.

3. Work with inventory.

4. Gather and analyze information about the user's issues.

5. Define and document the best courses of action.

6. Document processes and workflows.

7. Maintain line of communication and provide knowledge-based updates.

Qualifications
:

  • Previous experience in technical support.
  • Must be able to speak and write English.
  • Capable of Troubleshooting.
  • Capable of learning and acquiring new skills.
  • Office suite knowledge (Word processor, spreadsheet, etc.)
  • Basic operating systems' troubleshooting knowledge must handle Windows, Mac, or Linux.
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Network troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to work with a ticketing system.
