Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Engineering Analyst Junior t
o support energy audits, energy modeling, and compliance consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in thermodynamics, mechanical and electrical systems, and will be capable of independently managing comprehensive energy assessments and analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full
ASHRAE energy audits
, including site surveys and detailed reporting. - Identify and quantify
Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs)
, writing clear and compelling technical narratives. - Utilize software tools like
HAP
for load calculations and
eQUEST
for energy modeling, with a high level of proficiency. - Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and interns, demonstrating best practices in energy analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of
advanced thermodynamics, mechanical, and electrical engineering
principles. - Strong experience in performing
ASHRAE surveys
and energy audits. - Proficiency with energy modeling and load calculation tools (
e.g., HAP, eQUEST
). - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical writing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Engineering degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching or mentoring peers or junior team members.
- Professional certifications (e.g., EIT, CEM, LEED AP) are a plus.
