Hire Smart is looking for a skilled Patient Billing Coordinator to join our administrative team. This position plays a vital role in managing patient billing information and ensuring accurate processing of medical claims.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Billing and Claims: Accurately prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies, investigating and appealing denied claims when necessary.
  2. Patient Engagement: Communicate with patients regarding their outstanding balances and provide assistance in understanding their bills.
  3. Financial Management: Monitor payments, track delinquent accounts, and establish payment arrangements with patients, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
