At Patricia Baez Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing daily HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and labor law compliance. This role requires strong collaboration with department managers and employees to ensure a positive work environment and support organizational goals.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $50,000 DOP/month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding. Define job descriptions and coordinate new hire orientation.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a contact for employee inquiries and grievances. Mediate disputes and promote open communication.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and assist in goal-setting and evaluations.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and facilitate employee training sessions on HR policies and professional development.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee compensation, including payroll and benefits. Communicate compensation policies.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies. Maintain employee records and HR-related paperwork.
  • HR Policy Management: Update and enforce company policies and provide guidance on employment laws.
  • HR Reporting: Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports on demographics, turnover, and compliance. Provide insights to management on HR trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of Dominican labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.
